Ebay Treasure Hunt
Enough said. I'll be busy all week attacking this game! The trick to this is figuring out whether the clue is going to be 1 degree of association or more than 1 (say 2, 3, or 4) away from the answer. So for the clue "a president, a place, a car" the listing specifically stated "Lincoln towncar." It could have gone further and said "pirelli tires" or "car wax" or something a few associations later. The problem is predicting how difficult Ebay is trying to make a particular clue and then guide your searching with that. I could spend several minutes looking for Lincoln towncar or I could spend several minutes looking for things closely or not so closely related to Lincoln towncar. There is no "right" answer, just an answer that Ebay enjoys providing associative connections to. In that sense, it's such a game of chance really. Not all that much intellect involved, not as much as it previously seemed anyhow.
